Job Summary
Mid-level Product Verification & Validation role for electric machines requiring a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 2 years of experience with electric machine design and verification.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years experience working with rotating components, electric machine design, test, or implementation
- Knowledge of data acquisition equipment and instrumentation such as accelerometers, thermistors, current transducers and vector network analyzers
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Experience working in Windchill and Creo
- 2 years experience with the VISION system creating activities, PV&V plans, work requests, ACR charts, and scheduling activities
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of related electric drive components (inverters, connectors, energy storage, etc.)
- Knowledge in analytical details of electric machine types and design (continuous and peak load evaluation, electromagnetics, bearings, insulating materials, cooling and manufacturability)
- Knowledge of accelerated test methods
- Knowledge and experience in virtual verification
