Job Summary
Product Test Engineering Technician responsible for setting up, operating, and testing integrated circuit (IC) devices using automated handlers and manual test methods; communicate test results and issues to engineering in real time; manage shipping/receiving of components and test hardware; maintain accurate inventory records and reorder supplies as needed; collaborate with in-house engineering teams to troubleshoot production test hardware issues; requires an Associate’s degree and 1–2 years of semiconductor testing experience; proficient soldering ability or willingness to learn; physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds; work schedule on 2nd shift (Tue–Sat, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM) with initial training period (3–6 months) and flexible Saturday start times; location: Austin, Texas.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field
- 1–2 years of experience in semiconductor testing or a similar technical role
- Ability to solder or demonstrate aptitude and willingness to learn moderately complex soldering techniques
