Product Technology Manager - Reflow

Job Summary
Lead product technology exploration, innovation, and deployment for reflow soldering equipment, acting as the R&D engineering focal point for overall product strategy. Drive development and updates of multi-generation product technology roadmaps while directing global engineering teams on new product and application development. Capture voice of customer, market trends, and priorities to transform them into actionable technology roadmaps and own the IP strategy. Represent the division in technical meetings, conferences, and forums as a product technical leader, providing input on resource needs and timelines for new development initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with end-to-end reflow soldering product development – concept, design/development, testing, launch, post-launch support
- Strong understanding of reflow soldering process, application
- Good understanding of reflow solder technology trends
- Knowledge of major reflow products globally
- Experience in direct customer interaction, gathering voice of customer (VoC)
- Ability to conceptualize new ideas based on marketing/customer requirements and follow through developing short- and long-term technology roadmap
- Demonstrated experience of effective collaboration with global, cross-functional teams
- Requires a bachelor's degree (preferred Master's) in Science, Engineering
- 10+ years of relevant experience in product design, development, technology management, process/application development

- Exposure to advanced technology (machine learning, intelligent machines, artificial intelligence) and application to reflow soldering
- Experience of reflow thermal profile development
- Effective communication, presentation skills for global, cross-functional teams
- High degree of proficiency in problem solving
- Experience in developing technical value proposition
- Ability to manage project
