Job Summary
Machining and programming products from engineering drawings while conducting design tests to support engineering efforts. Operate machinery and equipment to ensure maximum production levels through proper setup and program direct on machines using CAM software. Assist engineers in build and design stages by establishing manufacturing methods and constructing testing equipment for experimental models. Maintain organized work areas, follow all safety guidelines including proper PPE, and prioritize daily objectives independently. Possess intermediate understanding of procedures, techniques, and equipment used in precision machining.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree; technical training or equivalent experience
- 10+ years' experience in Manual and CNC precision Machining
- 3+ years of prototype machining
- knowledge of MS Office
- CAD/CAM & CAD experience
- Machine control programming knowledge
Desired Qualifications
- MS Project knowledge
