Job Summary
Repair case goods, leather, and upholstery furniture by completing minor repairs on surface damage, solid color refinishes, and corner rebuilds. Assess product damage to determine efficient repair methods and inspect items for like-new conditions. Perform advanced replacement part repairs, manage spray booth setups, and communicate tool or part maintenance needs. Document recurring damages and report situations where repairs cannot be completed. Maintain clean work areas, comply with safety regulations, and assist other technicians. Identify warehouse inventory issues and collaborate with warehouse personnel on minor touch-ups during inspections.
Required Qualifications
- Customer centric mindset
- Ability to assess damages to determine the most efficient way to repair them
- General understanding of spray booth set up and use
- Ability to complete repairs with little guidance
- Ability to perform entry level repair types with additional skills requirements
- Ability to perform minor repairs on top of surface of case pieces and tables
- Ability to perform solid color paper/side refinishes
- Ability to perform small corner damages that require rebuild
- Ability to perform advance replacement part repairs
- Ability to help inspect damaged product and convey if it can be repaired to like new conditions
- Ability to work with warehouse personnel on techniques of minor touch up on products during the inspection process
- Ability to accurately report situations that occur when repairs can not be completed
- Ability to communicate maintenance of tools, parts and hardware needed
- Ability to keep repair area/shop clean
- Ability to demonstrate the Company's Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions

- Ability to maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Ability to maintain proper safety usage of all products that are used within the department
