Job Summary
Product Technical Leader (HVAC) drives the technical scope of an automotive HVAC project from RFQ/nomination through development and industrialization. Applies the Product Development Process per CPM, ensures robust design within technical, quality, timing, and cost targets, and leads cross-functional design reviews. Responsible for testing/validation strategies, root cause analysis, and optimization; acts as main technical contact for customer-facing R&D topics and maintains a strong, trust-based relationship with customers (German and English-speaking). Coordinates Design Leaders, Product Engineers, and other R&D contributors, assigns work packages, and collaborates with R&D Manager and Discipline Managers on resources and priorities. Aims for on-time delivery, compliant with automotive standards and customer requirements, while managing planning and budgeting within scope and contributing to resource identification and investments.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in a technical field (Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar)
