Job Summary
Product Technical Support Engineer provides day-to-day technical support to the Field Sales & Service organization and Data Center Accounts globally, using site visits, phone, fax, or email. Responsibilities include driving product reliability via Continuous Improvement processes, creating test plans for new or existing product equipment, collaborating with quality management and engineering, maintaining adaptability to changing responsibilities, and delivering customer-focused solutions. The role emphasizes identifying problems, analyzing data, and delivering measurable value while aligning with internal strategies and performance metrics. Up to 25% local travel is expected. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related Technical/Scientific field required
- 2+ years’ experience or if no degree, 6+ years of technical experience with knowledge of HVAC&R products
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Internet software/e-mail
- Proficient in troubleshooting the refrigeration cycle as applied to air-conditioning duty on Applied Equipment
