Job Summary
Product Application Specialist to support Louver customers by providing product knowledge, pricing assistance, and overall customer satisfaction throughout the process. Will collaborate with business development, production, and engineering as a liaison to support customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities. Responsibilities include communicating with potential and existing customers to define needs for product compatibility, coordinating these requirements with other disciplines, executing purchase orders, clarifying pricing with engineering, addressing fabrication-related concerns, arranging special freight, resolving disputes over quality or invoicing, reviewing drawings/specifications, developing cost estimates, and providing submittal drawings. The role requires CAD design experience (preferably Autodesk Inventor), proficiency in Microsoft Office, ability to interpret technical documents, and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and product applications. Preferred HVAC experience, ERP/system pricing/cost estimation experience, exposure to customer-facing technical support, and familiarity with competitive product benchmarking. Opportunities for cross-functional learning include plant visits and product training seminars; occasional lab/plant collaboration may occur.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in CAD design, application engineering, or similar
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to interpret technical documents, specifications, and drawings
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and product applications
