Job Summary
Provide on-site technical product support to dealers and their technicians across SC, NC, and VA, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues to minimize machine downtime. Conduct in-depth root cause analysis of equipment failures, identify trends, and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with dealers, service managers, the service team, engineering, and internal management; support new machine deliveries and customer onboarding; gather and analyze customer feedback for product improvements; represent Tigercat at industry events and trade shows; prepare technical reports and maintain documentation. Requires advanced technical expertise in hydraulics, electrical, mechanical, and diesel systems, strong troubleshooting, ability to read drawings/specifications, and effective communication. Must be highly organized, able to work independently on multiple projects, and travel extensively within the region (with occasional travel to Canada).
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical engineering, diesel technology, heavy equipment technical certification) or equivalent experience
- Advanced technical expertise in hydraulics, electrical, mechanical, and diesel systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region (and occasional travel to Canada)
