Job Summary
Product Support Representative responsible for promoting parts and service sales within an assigned territory and acting as a liaison between customers and the Parts/Service Managers to provide information about customer problems and long-term requirements. The PSR is a professional salesperson with intimate knowledge of our products/services, duties include promoting and selling items, increasing parts/service sales, visiting customers, resolving concerns with management, providing technical/pricing information, following up after service, training customers on parts manuals and related tools, planning daily sales calls, submitting reports, maintaining customer files, updating equipment lists, submitting viable leads, and traveling for training/meetings. Strong communication, data-entry, and computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Associates degree or some college is desired
- Previous sales experience a plus
- Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and great interpersonal skills
- Must be able to communicate both in verbal and written tasks to the department as well as customers
