Product Support Field Engineer

Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for Electric Power products and systems (diesel and gas generators, controls, cooling, enclosures, and balance of plant) at customer sites. Lead issue investigation, root cause analysis, and develop and implement interim and permanent corrective actions. Train Caterpillar dealer personnel in troubleshooting complex product issues and support CPI projects. Contribute to product improvements by evaluating manufacturing and design defects, modifying designs for efficiency and quality, and writing technical specifications. Manage projects from inception to release, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and commercial teams. Must be able to travel up to 80% and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure product performance, reliability, durability, and availability as part of the Cat brand promise.
