Job Summary
Provide technical and marketing/sales support to the service sales field organization through phone/email support, direct customer interaction, and special product selection, pricing, and quotation activities. Execute marketing communication promoting sustainability in HVAC systems, establish product lines' selling stories, and advise on electrification and decarbonization strategies. Travel to sales offices, corporate events, and customer sites for formal presentations, sales discussions, and tradeshows while participating in new product development and bid strategy projects. Train new service sales engineers and assist with configuring equipment and developing software requirements. Ensure internal and field teams effectively understand competitor strategies and communicate this information clearly.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Engineering related work experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to travel independently up to 10% of the time
- Tactfulness and assertiveness
- Effective and clear decision-maker under pressure situations
- Ability to communicate effectively with field (customers, estimators and account managers) and internal customers
- Aggressive, success-oriented, self-starter
- Ability to manage time and priorities in order to meet specific goals and objectives
- Highly developed and demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
- Team-player skills
- PC and end user computer use (Excel, Word, Power Point, Cloud-based Selection Software)
