Job Summary
Conduct cycle counts, reconcile inventory within electronic systems, and receive incoming materials for proper stock placement. Prepare parts for shipment by packaging, labeling, and generating air bills and bills of lading while selecting items to fill orders and release requisitions. Operate saw and moving equipment to load/unload trucks and move raw material, ensuring accurate inventory and production continuity. Maintain a neat, FOD-free work area and participate in department problem-solving and lean events. Requires high school diploma, one year of stockroom/shipping experience, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Salary is $16.80 - $21.00/hour with a split shift premium of $1.50/hr.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year related product support experience performing stockroom/shipping/receiving duties
- Ability to perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory within electronic systems
- Able to read and understand forms, specifications, and work instructions
- Proficiency with computers and data entry, including software packages and mainframe systems
- Manual dexterity and ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to work as a team player
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Specific vision abilities: ability to pass a visual acuity exam (far vision, near vision and color perception)
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift operator certificate
- Experience operating saw equipment and performing minor equipment repairs
- Prior experience with lean/5S activities and department improvement boards
