Job Summary
Provide customer training and technical support for Sandvik screening equipment across West Africa, guiding maintenance teams through fault diagnosis, repairs, and commissioning. Collaborate with sales teams to promote aftermarket parts sales while managing parts planning and identifying service requirements through equipment audits. Deliver hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and ensure compliance with all Sandvik policies. Report installed base data to the Africa Region team and work toward established KPIs within approved budgets. This role requires a Bachelor's in engineering with five years of mining experience, valid passport and driver's license, and ability to travel frequently. Based in Pakyi, Kumasi, with French proficiency an advantage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline, or a relevant trade qualification with strong technical equipment and customer relationship management experience
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a similar role within the mining industry
- specific experience in screening equipment
- Sound knowledge of crushing and screening operations in both surface and underground mining environments
- Valid passport with the ability and willingness to travel across West Africa at short notice
- Valid driver's license
