Job Summary
Product Support Technician role in San Diego focused on supporting products across development and production stages. Responsibilities include shipping/receiving equipment, maintaining lab inventory, upgrading/testing products, assisting with installation procedures, providing hands-on installation support at customer sites, collaborating with customers to identify, resolve, and document product issues, and contributing to internal procedures. Must be able to travel domestically up to 20%, occasionally work unusual hours to coordinate with India, run scripts to push software, perform installations/deinstallations, read schematics, and operate test equipment. Skills include electro-mechanical assembly, soldering, hand/power tools, troubleshooting, 12 V automotive power systems, Microsoft Office, customer service, lab inventory management, lifting up to 50 lbs, travel ability (20%), and familiarity with Linux, Python, Bash, 3D printers/CAD, SOP creation/editing, and basic scripting. 2+ years of experience in a professional product development environment is a plus. Location: San Diego, CA. Pay range: $56,000—$75,600 USD.
