Job Summary
Lead technology solution design and architecture for the FFP Actuarial Workstream and group treasury space, overseeing implementation of the new Pathwise platform and fully integrated data platforms. Translate business requirements from actuarial modelling and IFRS 17 domains into tech solution designs while ensuring alignment to global standards and roadmaps. Drive delivery of technology products to enable business outcomes, coordinate with tech delivery leads on planning and execution, and manage the transition to BAU and run teams. Facilitate collaboration between finance, actuarial, and treasury stakeholders to co-create solution designs and build strategies across DPS finance functions. Lead diverse teams of technical specialists and provide timely updates to governance committees.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven track record within Insurance sectors
- Bachelor's degree (2:1 honor or higher) or equivalent level
- Strong knowledge of the Actuarial and Treasury business functions as they relate to the Insurance industry
- Data architecture and modern data management platforms and how they are used
- Cloud architecture design
- Technology delivery project management experience
- Team leadership and management qualities
- Effective communication skills – written, verbal and presentation to senior stakeholders and large audiences
- Awareness of Actuarial modelling and results production processes
