Job Summary
Assess the commercial viability of potential offerings through financial analysis to recommend program designs meeting specific margin and ROI metrics. Transform complex energy ideas into simple customer offerings by leveraging ideation methodologies and analyzing research insights to identify opportunities. Lead the end-to-end implementation of new products, from whiteboard concepts to market launch, by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and managing key product verticals. Cultivate external partner relationships to define new business models, negotiate commercial agreements, and execute go-to-market workplans. Optimize product design, marketing, and sales tactics to achieve sales goals for new products while driving customer satisfaction and retention.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years work experience in retail-focused product development, offer/channel strategy, marketing or related function
- 3+ years with financial modeling or customer margin analysis (related to above)
- Proficiency in excel based modeling required
- Requires strong sense of self-motivation
- Thrives under minimal supervision
- Excels at solving complex problems
- Enjoys working around obstacles
- Extensive communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with both internal and external customers (e.g., vendors, Marketing, Sales, IT, Legal, Operations, Finance)
- Demonstrate a high level of curiosity
- Capacity for learning
- Aptitude for problem solving
- Able to effectively contribute to and/or lead small work groups
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with energy or alternative energy products (solar, battery, EVs, VPPs, Demand Response) strongly preferred
- SAS/Tableau experience beneficial
- Willingness and ability to learn new systems as required (e.g., CRM tools)
