Product Strategist

Product Strategist role in Auckland-based Propellerhead, a software services company building large-scale digital platforms. You will articulate client value, frame problems worth solving, and define measurable success with funded backlog items. Core responsibilities include clearly communicating hypotheses and success measures; managing delivery constraints; collaborating with internal and client stakeholders to meet functional and commercial objectives; leading discovery and scope management (including using AI to rapidly prototype ideas); ensuring efficient use of resources; defining hypotheses and measurable success criteria; keeping product delivery teams informed; and demonstrating comfort with using AI to accelerate discovery. The ideal candidate has proven product strategy experience in software, strong Agile knowledge, excellent communication, the ability to prioritise multiple tasks, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience defining problems with stakeholders, and familiarity with product management tools. This Auckland-based role requires hybrid work with office attendance, and includes potential background/qualifications checks.
