Job Summary
Product Stewardship Specialist responsible for leading APC's product stewardship program, ensuring regulatory compliance across global regimes (REACH, RoHS, Prop 65, PFAS, CMRT/EMRT), and providing technical guidance to R&D/Engineering during New Product Introductions to ensure compliance by design. Duties include interpreting evolving global regulations, managing reporting for CMRT/EMRT, developing phase-out strategies for PFAS, collecting and validating declarations of compliance, maintaining compliance platforms and routine reports for customers and regulators, and supporting alternate shifts/weekend coverage. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field, 3+ years of experience in product stewardship or regulatory compliance, deep knowledge of REACH/RoHS/Prop 65, strong attention to detail, and ability to communicate complex regulations to non-technical stakeholders. Legally eligible to work in the United States; no sponsorship; U.S. person status per ITAR/clause. May require overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Materials Engineering, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in product stewardship or regulatory compliance
- Deep understanding of REACH, RoHS exemptions, and Prop 65 labeling requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to explain complex technical regulations to non-technical stakeholders
- Legal to work in the United States; no sponsorship
