Product Stewardship Engineer

Job Summary
Analyze materials and packaging to assess conformance to global regulations like EU REACH, PFAS, and RoHS. Conduct life cycle assessments (LCAs) for manufacturers producing complex assemblies by examining data on materials, production, transportation, energy usage, and carbon emissions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product design and minimize environmental impact while developing reports based on regulatory assessments. Lead LCA projects for clients using advanced software technology to ensure compliance with standards including California Prop 65 and CE marking. This remote position in Latin America supports a mission to help manufacturers build safer, cleaner, globally compliant products.
Required Qualifications
- An undergraduate degree in mechanical, electrical or other relevant engineering discipline
- Minimum of 5 years experience in product design - preferably in electrical equipment or medical devices
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to LCA software tools and data analysis (or strong desire to learn LCA)
- Experience in new product development/design is preferred
- Candidates with openLCA experience are encouraged to apply
