Job Summary
Global Payroll Center of Excellence (CoE) Specialist at Workday acts as a trusted advisor on high-value deals for the Workday GO Global Payroll motions. Leads first-level technical discovery to qualify opportunities, determines path (standard Global Payroll or expanded EOR/Contractor suite) to maximize deal size and ROI, and enables Core Account Executives with solution-based selling. The role requires deep expertise in global payroll, provides evangelism and enablement through sales collateral and playbooks, advises on deal strategy, and offers commercially-minded feedback to product teams to stay ahead of the competition. Core areas include deal execution and technical expertise, strategic discovery, evangelism and enablement, strategy, and product feedback. Basic qualifications highlight 5+ years in Global Payroll sales or pre-sales, global payroll solutions implementation, and/or related consulting with technical understanding of global payroll compliance and localization; fluency in French, Spanish, or German is a plus. The role is based in the USA with base pay ranges of $129,900 – $158,800 USD, with potential bonuses/stock grants and flexible work arrangements as described in Workday’s policy.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of related experience in Global Payroll Sales or Pre-Sales Solution Consulting for Payroll solutions or implementation of Global Payroll solutions
- Global Payroll expertise and understanding of international payroll compliance and localization
- HRIS/Workforce knowledge with deep knowledge of Global Payroll
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex concepts clearly
- Technical aptitude with ability to learn, demonstrate, and analyze software solutions
- Consultative selling experience and ability to enable sales teams with SME support
- Fluency in French, Spanish or German is a plus
