Job Summary
Manage assigned automotive products in the ASEAN Power Transmission business to support local sales growth and targets, working closely with the sales team and distributors. Conduct product training for commercial teams, customers, and distributors while coordinating warranty claims to ensure smooth closures. Execute market research, analyze competitor trends, and identify product gaps to increase market share. Oversee packaging and labelling requirements, maintain the product database, and conduct fitment tests with engineering teams. Support product pricing, profitability, and development by coordinating with global resources and negotiating with regional suppliers.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of product line management skills or experience in automotive industry
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Discipline
- Effective communication skills in both written and oral English
- Analytical and Logical thinking
- Sound mechanical engineering knowledge relative to assigned products
- Ability to convert technical matters to language understandable to non-technical readers and listeners
- Competent in MS OFFICE (Word, Power Point, and especially Excel)
- Ability to collaborate well with people
- Ability to effectively handle conflict
- Demonstration of flexibility in work style to accommodate changing priorities and tight deadlines
- Proactive attitude
- Ability to work independently
- Strong team player
