Job Summary

Serve as the technical authority on Epiroc trackless mining equipment, leading installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance, diagnose faults, conduct root cause analyses, and implement solutions to eliminate defects. Conduct machine audits, routine inspections, and RigScan assessments; assist with repairs and parts planning. Drive process improvements, generate technical reports and failure analyses, and coordinate with mine and Epiroc teams to improve equipment performance while upholding MHSA safety and environmental standards. Train operators and maintenance personnel, maintain documentation, and support warranty claims and service bulletins. Requires 3+ years’ experience with mining/drilling equipment, strong mechanical/electrical/hydraulic knowledge, ability to read technical drawings, and readiness to work in underground environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Grade 12/Matric
  • N6 Engineering Diploma (advantageous)
  • Section 26D Trade Test (Diesel/Earthmoving/Millwright/Electro-Mechanical)
