Job Summary
Product Specialist Advisor at Camping World works with customers to determine specialized product needs and installations, provides price estimates for installations prior to scheduling, and collaborates with the service team to ensure high customer service satisfaction. Responsibilities include daily customer interactions to promote product needs, reviewing job specs for proper sizing and placement before installation, maintaining prepayment logs, scheduling installation appointments with service staff, monitoring parts traffic and receiving parts, inspecting vehicles to ensure correct parts are ordered, and upholding a safe, clean work area. The role may include cross-training to perform other duties and requires a high level of organization and follow-up. The position is full-time with a commission-based pay structure and includes benefits such as PTO, 401(k), Good Sam Roadside Assistance, discounts, parental leave (eligibility), tuition reimbursement (eligibility), and on-the-job training.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- At least one year of sales experience is preferred
- At least one year of previous RV or camping product is preferred but not required
- Ability to work daily on a computer and perform internet searches as needed
- Excellent organization and follow up skills are required
- Knowledge of Service Department procedures and policies is preferred
- Valid driver's license required
