Product Specialist - Automation

Job Summary
Provide field service on Sandvik automation systems including installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs at customer sites; support AutoMine systems and underground automation networks; deliver on-site and remote technical support, equipment installations, demonstrations, and system validation; develop and deliver technical/product training to service teams, sales personnel, customers, and operators; build strong customer relationships through regular site visits and proactive support; require 7+ years of experience in industrial/mining environments; travel regularly; bilingual (French/English) is an asset; role involves working with onboard machinery, control room environments, servers, and networks to improve safety, availability, and productivity.
Required Qualifications
- Technical diploma or degree in Automation, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Systems, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant technical experience in field service or technical support within industrial/mining environments
- Solid experience with automation systems, control systems, and networked industrial equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic analysis skills
- Willingness to travel regularly and work in demanding site environments
- Bilingualism (French and English) considered an asset
