Product Specialist, Alternative Investments (AVP)

Job Summary
Originate, source, and perform due diligence on private market fund opportunities, including private equity, private credit, and infrastructure. Manage discretionary and advisory portfolio management services while leading onboarding workstreams involving financial, operational, tax, and legal assessments. Negotiate offering memoranda and draft legal documentation in compliance with internal policies and regulatory expectations. Prepare investment memos, manage internal approval processes for subscriptions and capital calls, and coordinate presentations for front office staff and clients. Provide insights on macroeconomic trends and monitor post-sales performance to assess fund eligibility. Lead product innovation, strategic partnerships with fund houses, and cross-departmental projects across regional offices.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-8 years work experience in Asset Management/Private Bank as a product specialist
- Experience in client engagement and customer experience
- Strong investment background
- Solid knowledge of alternatives investments products
- Comfortable to present investment ideas to a varied set of audience (internal and external)
- Proven analytical capabilities
- Data analysis skill set
- Exceptional communication and writing skills
- Clear articulation capability of sophisticated concepts, ideas, and processes
- Proficiency with Excel
- Proficiency with PowerPoint
- Proficiency with Word
- Self-starter with high level of attention to detail
- Ability to stay adaptable to tight deadlines
- Desire and ability to be part of a dynamic team
- Strong team-player orientation
- Undergraduate or Graduate education from a prestigious institution with specialization in finance, accounting, or other analytical fields
Desired Qualifications
- Specific experience drafting detailed investment analyses
- Experience/ Interest to develop skill set in Power BI or other business intelligence platforms
- CFA/CAIA holder
