Job Summary
Product Sourcing Manager responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing strategies, identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating terms, and managing supplier relationships to ensure reliable, cost-effective materials and components. Collaborates with Product Development, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance to align sourcing with project timelines, analyzes market trends and supplier capabilities, monitors supplier performance, and implements improvements. Requires a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree a plus) and a minimum of 3 years in product sourcing, with strong negotiation, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills to support fast-paced product development and manufacturing environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in product sourcing or a related role
- Proven experience in negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with sourcing software and tools
- Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and quality standards
