Job Summary
Product Service Consultant for MineStar Terrain Office technologies. Responsible for product validation, issue investigation, troubleshooting, diagnosing application and technical problems, and providing service engineering with emphasis on project management and internal/external relationships. Act as liaison between Caterpillar implementation teams, product development, and support teams; implement standard support processes to respond, restore, and resolve issues; participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects; coordinate knowledge transfers and ensure corrective actions with engineering. Requires travel up to 20% and onsite work in mining environments (open pit/underground); role includes strong customer focus, technical excellence, relationship management, problem solving, and effective communications to meet customer needs and deliver excellent service.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or mining engineering
- 1 year project management experience
- 3 or more years of experience supporting technology in an industrial or production environment
- SQL Server DB Management Experience
- Azure, Linux, TCP/IP networking
- Capable of effective communication with technically and non-technically skilled mining customers and dealers
