Job Summary
Manage employees performing engineering and technical activities in Product Security Test & Evaluation across the Enterprise, including Defense Engineering Technology and Services. Develop and motivate a Product Security Test Team while implementing plans to ensure business, technical, and customer requirements are achieved. Assign authority and responsibilities to execute the plan, review execution plans, make adjustments, and resolve issues. Develop and monitor metrics to ensure performance, support technical excellence projects, and instill a culture of accountability and bias for action. Create a positive cohesive team environment, develop and execute plans to support program growth, and establish relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports. Effectively communicate with Senior Leaders and Executive Management while identifying, assessing, and actively managing safety and quality concerns as part of daily business conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course 'Exploring Leadership'
- 3+ years of experience with Cyber Security, Product Security and/or Test & Evaluation
- Willing to travel 20% of the time or more as needed
- Ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements
- Must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
- Must be able to work onsite at one of the listed location options (Berkeley, MO; Hazelwood, MO; Saint Charles, MO; or Huntsville, AL)
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience leading or managing a team
- Experience with Avionics Test & Evaluation
- Experience working with Avionics (non-IT) Systems
- Experience with Product Security applied to Embedded Systems
- Experience with Product Security Incident Response Investigations
- Experience with requirements definition, systems integration and/or system test
- Experience managing budgets/Earn Value Management (EVM)/Cost Account Manager (CAM)
- Experience with Product Security Test Design Practices
