Job Summary
Product Security Engineer with 4–8 years of experience in computer and network security, focusing on medical device or instrumentation security. Responsibilities include monitoring cybersecurity threats to Hologic products, conducting vulnerability assessments, assisting with security in product development, developing test procedures for OS patches and antivirus software, educating sales/service teams on network security, collaborating with software engineers to define security requirements, and coordinating with Engineering and Field Service to qualify networked products. Desirable qualifications include CISSP and healthcare-domain experience (PACS, DICOM, HL7, EHR). Travel to client sites is required.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related technical field with 4–8 years of relevant experience in computer and network security, Windows and Linux OS, software verification, and cybersecurity risk assessment; experience with enterprise computer network infrastructure; preferred certifications (CISSP) and OS/networking certifications; healthcare industry experience preferred; willingness to travel to client offices and sites
