Product Sales Specialist - Schneider/Square D

Job Summary
Conduct market analysis to identify sales opportunities, generate customer leads, and complete weekly expense reports. Prepare annual sales forecasts for assigned territories and report competitive conditions to management. Prospect new business, coordinate secured orders with staff for tracking and fulfillment, and actively manage account bases to maximize sales volume. Read schematics and blueprints to define project scope, follow up on quotations, and adhere to project schedules. Provide appropriate product information to customers and attend training classes to develop superior product knowledge. Work safely with electrical systems, assist with accident reporting, and adhere to customer safety guidelines while supporting other branches in securing orders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- 3 – 5 years of experience in Schneider Electric/Square D product sales
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Commitment to and demonstration of high ethical standards governing professional behavior and interactions
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, especially verbally
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work well alone and in a team environment
- Demonstrated capability to develop strong interpersonal working relationships
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to use, read and interrupt measuring devices such as a tape measure
- Ability to use a computer, operating software and wiring/device marking systems
- Demonstrated motivation, willingness to learn and complete quality work
- Ability to travel with overnight stays during the week
