Product/Sales Engineer

Job Summary
Product/Sales Engineer to interface between Glendinning Products LLC and customers across the Complete Controls product line. Responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries, providing quotes, ensuring orders are entered into the ERP system, coordinating with Engineering for any required modifications, ensuring customers have technical documentation for installation, and providing technical support during and after installation. Also responsible for proactive customer support, internal knowledge of the Complete Controls product line, assisting during warranty periods, investigating returns, suggesting engineering solutions, providing on-site support as necessary, and representing the Sales team at 2–3 trade shows per year.
Required Qualifications
- Marine Propulsion experience
- Electronic system background
- Familiarity with electrical concepts (voltage, current, resistance, digital communications)
- Experience with NMEA2000 network systems preferred
- Willingness to learn new concepts related to Glendinning’s Complete Controls product line
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers via telephone and email
