Job Summary
Product Safety Certifier for Gas Products responsible for high-quality certification services, evaluating products against national/international standards, reviewing test data, preparing and signing Certification Reports and Certificates of Compliance, and guiding clients through the certification process. Role involves independent project management, witness testing, and providing technical information to customers while ensuring adherence to CSA Group quality procedures and test methods. Requires engineering background (Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent), knowledge of CSA/UL/IEC standards, ability to review work, and effective communication with clients and team members. Demonstrates capability to manage projects, discuss test results, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Located in Guangzhou, China with in-person lab and field testing responsibilities; willingness to collaborate with sales for client opportunities and provide technical expertise during design discussions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with likely 3 years of job related experience or Certified Engineering Technologist, Journeyman Electrician or equivalent industry experience with likely 3 years of related experience
