Product Safety Certifier - Energy Storage

Job Summary
Lead product testing and certification activities for battery energy storage systems, interpreting global safety standards (UL 9540, IEC 62109, IEEE 1547, etc.), analyzing test data, preparing reports, and delivering objective evaluations. Collaborate with customers to define project plans, provide technical support to sales/marketing, and ensure timely certification deliveries. Requires bachelor's degree or higher in power electronics/electrical engineering, 5-7 years of relevant experience, familiarity with North American/Canadian energy storage standards, strong communication, and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in power electronics/electrical engineering or automation
- 5-7 years of experience in testing and certification for energy storage systems
- Familiarity with North American storage energy safety standards and related rules (e.g., UL 9540, IEC 62109, IEEE 1547)
- Strong customer management and project management skills
- Ability to communicate technical information in English (CET6 preferred)
- Willingness to travel frequently
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently analyze test data
