Job Summary
Product Safety Certifier role responsible for managing certification projects and ensuring products meet national/international safety standards. Provides technical guidance, reviews test data, prepares Certification Reports and Certificates of Compliance, conducts field and laboratory testing, and collaborates with customers to meet CSA Group certification requirements. Requires interpretation of standards, knowledge of CSA/UL/IEC standards, ability to oversee testing at customer facilities, and strong documentation and communication skills. Prefers a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with substantial related experience (6+ years), and experience with testing procedures, standards, and certification programs. Will visit manufacturer facilities and coordinate lab testing to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
