Job Summary
Product Researcher responsible for gathering, synthesizing, and presenting deep insights into customers, markets, and competitors in agriculture and animal protein to inform data-driven product decisions and de-risk roadmap investments. Duties include conducting qualitative and quantitative research (interviews, surveys, ethnographic studies, observational visits) with producers, integrators, veterinarians, and supply chain stakeholders; maintaining market intelligence on market size, segment trends, adoption rates, and economic forces; performing competitive analysis and producing battlecards; monitoring regulatory changes, technology developments, and industry events; translating raw data into actionable reports and visualizations; developing and updating buyer and user personas; conducting usability feedback to validate product-market fit; owning a centralized repository of insights; assisting PMs with business case quantification of opportunity size, ROI, and adoption forecasts; and collaborating cross-functionally to communicate findings to engineering, marketing, sales, and leadership. Travel to on-site customer visits, plant/farm tours, and industry events is expected. Preferred attributes include curiosity, empathy, analytical rigor, influence, and organization. Tools used include Typeform, Qualtrics, Confluence, Notion, Miro, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, Pendo/Amplitude, HubSpot, Jira, Trello, among others.
