Product Reliability Engineer

Job Summary
Conduct laboratory testing, product validation, and lifecycle testing for Byrne products, including safety, compliance, and environmental evaluations. Analyze test data, field performance trends, and failure results to identify reliability gaps and execute root cause investigations. Propose design solutions, create prototypes, and support qualification of new materials and manufacturing processes through structured validation. Develop test plans, procedures, and engineering documentation while maintaining laboratory equipment and integrating AI-enabled tools to improve data capture and workflow efficiency. Collaborate with Product and Manufacturing Engineering teams to determine re-test schedules and drive corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
- 0-3 years of engineering, laboratory, manufacturing, quality, reliability or product testing experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting ability
- Ability to analyze technical data, identify trends and communicate actionable conclusions
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology or related technical discipline
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with laboratory test equipment, instrumentation or data collection systems
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel
- experience with data analysis tools
- Interest in automation, artificial intelligence, data analytics and continuous improvement
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organization and collaboration skills
