Job Summary
Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory compliance-related customer and market questions, guiding requests across the Label and Graphic Materials portfolio. Contribute to implementing product compliance systems, policies, and programs while supporting the development of the Avery Dennison Product Stewardship database. Conduct chemical risk assessment reports to sign off on improved raw material choices for adhesive formulations, communicating implications to non-technical stakeholders including R&D, Legal, and government agencies. This hybrid role within the European Headquarters in Oegstgeest requires a Master's or Bachelor's in Chemistry, Toxicology, or a related field, with 1–2+ years of product stewardship experience.
Required Qualifications
- Academic degree (Master's or Bachelor's) in a relevant discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Toxicology, Pharmacy, Food Science) or Regulatory Education in the field of the chemical or packaging industry
- Engineering or regulatory knowledge with an ability to understand technical specifications and regulations, and communicate the implications to non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical skills and a consistent eye for detail
- Proficient written and oral communication skills in English
- Structured and detail-oriented approach
- The position will be located at our European Headquarters in Oegstgeest, the Netherlands
- This is a hybrid position
Desired Qualifications
- 1–2+ years of experience in product stewardship, regulatory, or compliance roles is a plus
- Proven hands-on experience with AI to manage data and compliance is a plus
