Product Regulatory and Reliability Engineer

Job Summary
Product Regulatory and Reliability Engineer responsible for ensuring Leer products comply with regulatory requirements and achieve high reliability throughout the lifecycle. Collaborates with product development teams, regulatory agencies, and suppliers to ensure safety, performance, and regulatory standards; conducts failure analysis to drive product improvements; develops and submits North American and global regulatory documentation and listings (UL, CE, NSF, DOE, NRCAN, NOM, FM, Prop 65, TSCA, RoHS, etc.); coordinates testing, certifications, and approvals; performs reliability testing (accelerated life testing, HALT, HASS) and applies FMEA/FTA to identify and mitigate risks; guides design modifications based on test results; analyzes field performance and customer feedback to identify trends and reliability issues; communicates regulatory and reliability concerns to stakeholders; maintains thorough documentation and delivers regulatory and reliability reports; works cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial teams; seeks continuous improvement in compliance and reliability metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in product regulatory affairs, reliability engineering, or related roles
- Experience with product certifications, including UL, CE, ISO, or similar standards
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in key markets including North America, Europe, and Asia
- Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) or other relevant certifications are desirable
