Job Summary
Conduct incoming quality control checks on smart home hardware and execute detailed test plans to identify defects in both devices and associated software. Utilize precision tools to inspect, repair, and handle consumer electronics while collaborating with engineering teams to validate new prototypes and certified products. Accurately record testing results and quality findings to support future product iterations and software updates, ensuring all offerings meet Rently's standards. Assist the Operations team in preparing and fulfilling orders when necessary to maintain technical accuracy and timely delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience working with computers and smart devices
- Hands-on experience with precision tools and repairing consumer electronics
- Proficiency in productivity software suites (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.)
- Basic familiarity with graphic design or editing software
- Strong attention to detail and a fundamental understanding of consumer-based hardware and software
- Proven ability to multitask effectively and work both independently and as part of a team
