Product Quality Technician

Job Summary
Inspect reman and new jet engines, incoming materials, and finished goods to verify products meet engineering drawings and quality standards. Perform in-process and final inspections of manufactured jet heaters, retrofit kits, and production assemblies while identifying, documenting, and communicating defects. Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and suppliers to resolve quality concerns, maintain inspection records, and support the development of quality procedures. Operate forklifts and company vehicles after required certifications are obtained, occasionally traveling to support supplier visits. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, engineering drawings, and work instructions
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office
- Forklift Operator Certification within six (6) months of hire
- DOT Certification within six (6) months of hire
- Lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- A pre-employment drug screening that tests for THC and other drugs
- A full background check
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, assembly, mechanical inspection, or related technical work
- Experience inspecting mechanical or industrial equipment
- Knowledge of quality control methods and inspection techniques
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
