Job Summary
Detect and assess product quality defects using internal and external data sources to secure fast solutions. Represent Polestar Quality with suppliers and partners in compliance and manufacturing processes while managing escalations, non-conformities, and deviations. Drive investigations, root cause analysis, and solution development for customer quality and compliance problems until containment actions are implemented. Manage plant quality KPIs, conduct product and process audits, and report findings to management and business partners. Collect and analyze market quality data to feed improvement processes and support flawless new model launches within the Global Manufacturing Quality team.
Required Qualifications
- University master's degree in engineering or equivalent through experience
- Strong interest in product engineering and manufacturing
- Minimum 7 years of automotive Quality, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality Management or R&D experience
- Good knowledge about customer quality, quality systems, data analyze & problem solving and manufacturing and launch processes
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Fluent in Chinese and English
- Fluent in MS Office applications and data reporting tools like Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PowerBi
- Holistic view and high degree of courage, integrity and business ethics
