Product Quality Engineer (NPDI)

Job Summary
Lead NPDi quality activities across New Product Development introductions and Engineer-to-Order projects, developing and owning the Quality Assurance Plan, defining release criteria and KPIs, and supporting supplier qualification. Manage quality documentation (PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Capability, Work Instructions), perform Product-level PPAP assessment, and approve release readiness. Drive cross-functional issue triage, root cause analysis, and CAPA; lead VoC data analysis to inform continuous improvement and product reliability. Influence design and manufacturing teams with lessons learned from field and manufacturing feedback; collaborate with Engineering and Operations to ensure compliance with internal quality standards and customer requirements through development to post-launch.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
- 5–7 years of experience in a product quality, reliability engineering, or NPDi role
- Proven experience with datacenter devices or high-reliability, high-complexity products
- Proficient in quality tools and methodologies such as FMEA, PPAP, 8D, CAPA, and Root Cause Analysis
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Domestic & international travel may be required (up to 25%).
