Job Summary
Own complaint handling for assigned product groups and drive structured problem-solving activities like 8D root cause analysis, containment actions, and sustainable corrective measures. Monitor quality improvement actions with internal and external stakeholders while documenting and evaluating reliability, yield, and FMEA data. Support product qualification activities and ensure adherence to Nexperia, AEC, and customer-specific quality standards across operational and project-related tasks. This role acts as the key interface between product group quality, customers, and other functions to safeguard satisfaction and protect market reputation. Based in Manchester, UK, with no visa sponsorship available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- at least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Solid understanding of semiconductor devices and applications
- Knowledge of quality and reliability standards (e.g. AEC-Q101) and structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g. 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Why)
- Familiarity with measurement methods and equipment as well as device testing environments
- Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to coordinate across functions and cultures
- Fluent English skills (written and spoken)
- Willingness to travel occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in wafer fab and assembly processes
- Working experience with Small Signal MOSFETs
- Experience with data analysis and statistical methods (e.g. Weibull analysis)
- German language skills
