Job Summary
Product Quality Engineer will manage internal quality metrics, support the manufacturing team to resolve issues, and perform manufacturing quality assessments. Work closely with the QA team on incoming inspections, First Article Inspections (FAI), and nonconforming material handling to drive continuous improvement with the supply chain. Ensure compliance to ISO9001:2015/AS9100/AS1300 and internal SOPs; participate in root cause analysis, track corrective actions, collect and distribute quality data, document procedures, support PFMEA and control plans, drive FAI for product revisions and new launches, conduct internal audits, and provide quality performance input for scorecards and deviation handling.
Required Qualifications
- Maintains positive relationships with various departments in multiple facilities.
- Maintains superior customer service to both our internal and external customers.
- Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering preferred or relative experience in manufacturing or aerospace mechanical engineering field
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a Manufacturing or Quality Engineering role, with at least 3 years in the Aerospace/Aviation industry.
- Strong knowledge of relevant software, quality assurance methods, tools and quality manufacturing processes
