Product Quality Engineer

Job Summary
Product Quality Engineer responsible for leading cross-functional quality activities in new product development and manufacturing at FARO CREAFORM. Proactively participates in core team NPI activities to assure successful product launches, leads cross-functional root-cause analysis (8D) for problem resolution, conducts compliance audits, and supports the creation/editing of quality standards and documents. Supports DFMEA/PFMEA reviews, process control plans, design for manufacturing reviews, part trials, and first article submissions. Ensures NPIs meet quality requirements through phase-gate reviews and improves the QA system across the product lifecycle. Drives continuous improvement through SPC tools, Lean/Six Sigma approaches, and coordinates corrective actions with suppliers and manufacturing sites. Collaborates with internal and external partners to address Voice of the Customer feedback, manage warranty and field quality, and ensure manufacturing readiness for production. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (MS preferred), 5+ years in Product Quality or Quality Engineering, ISO 9001/17025 experience, and strong English/Thai communication; travel may be required. Location: Pathum Thani, Thailand; onsite full-time role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline (MS Degree preferred)
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Product Quality or Quality Engineering role
- Experience in a manufacturing environment compliant with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 17025
- Must be able to develop and sustain relationships with key partners, internal and external customers
- Proficient to communicate verbally and written in English and Thai languages is required
