Job Summary
Manage products from introduction through end of life, coordinating with Sales, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure execution within budget. Lead change and improvement activities for electromechanical aerospace assemblies, developing plans to communicate with all involved parties and allocate resources. Monitor production yield and field performance data, taking proactive steps to address issues affecting reliability and yield targets. Conduct failure investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions while maintaining action item lists and tracking due dates. Compose monthly program review materials to summarize activity and performance, and prepare status reports for customer account specialists.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA degree or 5+ years equivalent work experience in Program Management, Operations, Engineering, Procurement, or other related functions
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Working knowledge of ERP systems
- Business is conducted in English with working documents written in English
- This is an on-site position
- Travel to suppliers, customers, or other Astronics locations, about 5% of the time
- Employment is contingent upon the employee's authorization to access items subject to U.S. export-control laws
