Job Summary
Product Performance Technician role focusing on safety-first diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy equipment. Responsibilities include developing basic troubleshooting on engine and powertrain systems under supervision, performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing machine failures, and servicing electrical, hydraulic, HVAC, and cab systems. Skills in telematics installation/repair, reading service manuals, and documenting service reports are required, with extensive travel up to 80% and overtime as necessary. The role emphasizes safety adherence, ability to work autonomously, and effective communication with customers and colleagues. Education/experience prerequisites include a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred), CDL with DOT compliance, and relevant field experience. The position is safety-sensitive and located in Liberty Lake, WA (US).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree from an accredited vocational school preferred
- Minimum of one year of heavy equipment maintenance experience required
- Caterpillar experience preferred
- Minimum of one year of Field Service experience preferred
- Minimum of five years’ experience in heavy equipment diagnosis and repair
- Valid CDL with a clean driving record and DOT compliance
- Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, comprehension, writing)
