Job Summary
The Product Owner will articulate and drive the product vision for VOSKER’s remote surveillance cameras, maintain the product delivery roadmap, and manage the backlog by prioritizing user stories and acceptance criteria in partnership with analysts and engineers. Responsibilities span exploring and shaping the product through all lifecycle stages, participating in design reviews and testing, communicating roadmaps and risks to stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. This role requires collaboration across multidisciplinary teams including firmware, electronics, and mechanical developers, with a focus on delivering high-quality physical products, embedded systems, and IoT solutions. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills are essential, along with fluency in French and English and willingness to travel to Montréal or Victoriaville periodically.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in a PO, functional analyst, or hybrid role
- Experience with physical electronic products (e.g., cameras, IoT, embedded systems)
- Strong understanding of embedded systems, electronics, and firmware development
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and related tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- Strong ability to structure and organize teamwork around clear and measurable objectives
- Bilingual in French and English (communication outside the province may be required)
- Available to travel to Montréal or Victoriaville a few times per month
