Job Summary
Product Owner responsible for end-to-end backlog ownership in a fast-paced startup setting. Leads requirements gathering, translates business needs into actionable user stories and specs, drives sprint planning and backlog refinement, identifies risks and dependencies early, defines product metrics, and collaborates on go-to-market and post-launch reviews to ship high-impact products with clear business value.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in an IT/software environment
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks
- Strong analytical mindset
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with product/project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Notion, Figma)
- Comfortable with ambiguity
- Exposure to software development cycles
- Prior startup/early-stage product team experience is a strong plus
- Nice to Have: CSPO, PSPO, PMP, or equivalent certification
- Experience with SaaS products, marketplaces, or B2B platforms
- Familiarity with SQL or basic data querying
- Background in UX research or user testing methodologies
